Book Reviews of The Ultimate (Animorphs, No. 50)

Book Review: Will they make the same mistake twice?
Summary: 5 Stars

The Animorphs are falling apart. Jake is refusing to take responsibility and be the leader they need, and the 'rents aren't helping with their refusal to cope with reality. Rachel is constantly blowing up at her mom for not facing the truth, that this isn't some law case and that they are in a real war, while Cassie's parents can't seem to realize that the Hork-Bajir aren't just a bunch of animals in need of help. They have no way of getting information about the Yeerks and if they are attacked now, the Yeerks probably won't have a problem taking them down. So they figure there's only one way they can stand a chance against the Yeerks, the morphing cube. They need more people on their side, but everyone remembers what happened the last time they gave someone the morphing power. And if they do choose to do it how will they figure out who's a controller and who's not. Kimberly Morris, the ghostwriter who helped with this book, did a really great job. Cassie's usually not my favorite character, but I actually liked her in this book. This book that shows how much Cassie has changed due to the war. It has earned its place next to #49 on my bookshelf.

Book Review: What do you do when you know the end is near?
Summary: 5 Stars

The Ultimate is the best Animorphs book yet. When the Animorphs realize the war is not going there way they must make a decision that could mean the fate of Earth. On a scale of 1 to 10, this is an 11.With great plot twists and never-ending action, The Ultimate stears you on a ride that you will not expect.

Book Review: The Ultimate contains many shades of grey
Summary: 5 Stars

Anyone who claims this series is just for kids needs to take a closer look. As the series approaches its end, #50 asks some tricky moral questions and was impossible to put down. Highly recommended, but you'd probably want to read some of the earlier books first!

Book Review: The Ultimate Ultimate
Summary: 5 Stars

Oh man how great. This book has so many new characters. James is so cool. He is the leader of the Disabled Animorphs that the Original 6 members recruit. Oh wow. The Animorphs decide that they need to use the blue box to make new animorphs they decide that disabled people would be the best because yeerks wouldnt suspect them. They soon end up losing the Blue Box that Elfangor left behind(sorta) and guess what they lost it to Jakes brother Tom. But on a brighter side they have 23 animorphs instead of 6.

Book Review: The best yet!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book was sooo awesome! The series is really starting to come to an end, but it's in a really good way! I can't wait for the next book!
