Book Review: "Anchors Aweight" is another view of a different war.
Summary: 5 Stars
As a former River Rat myself this book brought back memories for me, as a Vietnam-era vet. Mr Burns simply puts it out there the way it was,,,no sugar,,,the facts. The Brown water Navy was a very small and at times misunderstood thing for what its role was in the war, but, for me, this book also brought it all out. Then the subsequent conflicts, like Vietnam, is where "Anchors Aweight" comes in, only on the light-hearted side.
