Book Review: Written Too Soon

This book is an example of why history should not be written for 100 years and all the players have expired. This book seems to come from tired old participants who got a thrill from the protests of Vietnam and for them the war never ends. It seems each essay honors George C. Herring and their adoration of his work qualifies for inclusion in this collection. Mr. Herring then discredits everyone who has written on Vietnam by summarizing this work with liberal quotes from everyone from John F. Kennedy to Doonesberry without the courtesy to footnote verification.
