Book Reviews of The Wedding

Book Review: A delicious Male Perspective
Summary: 5 Stars

This incredible "sequel" to "The Notebook" picks up with Noah and Allie's daughter's marital troubles. When Wilson forgets his 29th anniversary, he sets his mind to making it up to his bride on their 30th anniversary. With the help of Noah, his father-in-law, he manages to craft some wonderfully touching plans to celebrate his marriage to Jane. Then their daughter springs her surprise wedding plans upon her parents. She wants to be married on their 30th anniversary. Will this throw Wilson's plans into turmoil? Or draw him and Jane closer together?

This is a charmingly written novel that really touches the heart. It's hard to believe that a man can write with this perspective or feel with this depth. Excellent book!!!

Book Review: Amazing
Summary: 5 Stars

This is one of my favorite Nicholas Sparks books. I would be very surprised if it didn't become a feature film at some point. Definately a classic.

Book Review: Another masterpiece by Nicolas Sparks
Summary: 5 Stars

After reading "The Notebook" I thought I'd finally climbed Mount Everest. I read the book of all books. The love story of all love stories. I didn't realize there could be this amazing story "The Wedding" which to my surprise is the continuation of the characters from "The Notebook". It's another incredibly touching love story by Nicolas Sparks who has a way of engaging readers of all backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles and becoming in love with his characters. The Wedding is a story about life and how not to let it slip by, particularly as it pertains to those that we love most. It's a story full of surprises, and once again, it will touch the depths of your soul. I will read this book again and again throughout my life as a constant reminder of how to love and how to make it matter. Highly recommended!

Book Review: Great ending
Summary: 4 Stars

I love his writing. He makes me feel like there are still some good men left. LOL
I thought I had this ending figured out only to be delightfully surprised.

Book Review: Great, but somehow needed more
Summary: 5 Stars

I give this 5 stars because it's a great book, it's realistic on every view of a marriage that's not exactly plummeting downwards but it's not better than most. It's about hope and not knowing where to start in reconciling. It is a little boring, for there is no exact build up. I would consider it a short story, that could have had more if it wasn't considered to be a tangent off of The Notebook. However, the ending is worth reading the book. My husband read this in the desert and loved it and it's meaning more than he ever imagined. He found respect for Nicholas Sparks through this book.
