The book provided me with a lot of insight. I is a good read, but is still raised a question or two but nothing not crazy. To me it sounded like a book about friends. This will be my first year homeschooling my children. I found this book very beneficial in planning my curriculum. I had first considered using an all-inclusive curriculum that did all the planning, assignments, testing, etc. for me. This book has given me the tools/references I need to plan it out myself which I feel will fit my family better. And it's more fun for me. I highly recommend it.Book Review: Long but well worth it

It's a little long, but that's the only bad thing that I can say about this book. It will take some time to read, but well worth it. There's no guess work, but you do need to find a quiet place to take it all in. These ladies lay everything out for you, and I mean everything. A very well laid out blueprint for homeschooling using the classical method. I was led to this book by a couple of moms in my homeschool group who use this book as a guide for homeschooling their own children.
