I bought this book in 1996 for my then-1 yr. old son who LOVED this book. It was a special "lap" book (sit on mommy's lap and be gentle with the book). My 2 y.o. daughter loves it as well and was a little rough on it when she discovered it in the book pile. I also bought Zelinsky's Knick Knack Paddywhack and it's even better!
Book Review: A sturdy, well-designed interactive book that lasts

I generally avoid interactive and pull-tab books because my children (who are overall gentle with books and toys) often inadvertently damage or ruin the interactive parts. This book has lasted years, and is so well-designed that it can be easily repaired if a piece does get ripped off or otherwise damaged. I'm really impressed with the design of the book--the wheels *really* spin, the pull tabs work easily, and the interactive parts endure wear and use. A remarkably well thought out and executed design for a children's book.Book Review: Absolutely delightful

Without a doubt, my 2 yr. old's favorite book. Over and Over and Over again. The illustrations are wonderful. Another one of our favorites is AWAY WE GO! Illustrated by Dan Yaccarino.Just pops with fun and brightness. Transportation, cars, etc. is
quite big at this age!
