I'm a big Baldacci fan, but this one's just not up to his usual standards. Granted it's escapism, but I hate super human heroes who can leap from their deathbed to out muscle the bad guys and save the world. I also hate the tired old they-killed-the-one-and-only-love-of-my-life-so-now-I-will-become-a-super-human-hero-who-can-leap-from-my-deathbed-to-out-muscle-the-bad-guys-and-save-the-world plotline .
