I read a review of this book in the Telegraph and subsequently bought it. I did not realise how many questions I had wanted to ask my doctor. This book answered everything I had been wondering and gave me much much more information.Christiane Northrup is a doctor and has worked with women for many years. She shows how orthodox and complementary medicine can be considered when deciding what is best to do for oneself. I had some symptoms which I did not realise were related to the menopause and to find that out was very reassuring. I now realise that what is affecting me is common to many women.
The book has been anglicised and the information is right for the UK market. I also liked the personal details. It felt like the author was talking to me directly.
I am ordering two copies of this book for friends of mine and highly recommend it.
