Book Review: A good read apparently easily overlooked
Summary: 4 Stars

Being a PA genre fan I think I've read all the biggies, some several times over. I'm constantly on the prowl for new PA/SHTF type stories and the self published titles are in my experience very much hit or miss. I located this ebook by accident, and I downloaded the sample chapter to my ereader to check it out. I was hooked right away. I purchased the full ebook for $4. If you can get over the exagerated at times "hillbilly speak" and spelling errors which is typical in my experience with these self published titles, I found the story line well thought out and put together generally speaking. Some of the characters were not fully developed, and the main character I could take for being the author speaking in the third person at times, as if things were left unsaid because she knew what she was thinking but failed to put the details to paper. The story idea was rather unique making this not the typical cookie cutter Red Dawn war fantasy survivalist novel typical of men's adventure fiction. Overall I enjoyed this novel and I can easily recommend it for it's bargain price and departure from the norm.
