Book Reviews of The Wrath of Mulgarath (The Spiderwick Chronicles, Book 5)Book Review: Easily The Best of The Spiderwick Chronicles Summary: 4 Stars
As the title says, this conclusion to the "The Spiderwick Chronicles" is easily the best of the five books. There is more action, more conflict, more emotion, and more wit in this one then in the other four. The tale of the Grace children comes to a close as they find themselves at the dump (AKA Mulgarath's palace) in hopes to save their mother.
As I hate people who put important plot points in their reviews and spoil the reading for others, I'll simply say that the action is top notch, but the climax ends a bit too swiftly, and the epilogue is touching, a bit sad, and quite uplifting. Another good note is that all of our favorite faeries from the previous four books make their final appearance in this one.
8/10
Book Review: The exciting finish Summary: 4 StarsI liked this book alot,in one hand i think the Author could have made it a bit more interesting. And in the other hand i think it was okay.I think they could have put in a bit more dangerous characters.I really liked the bit where they think the man is there dad and then he changes into a gastly beast with sharp claws and a wrinkly face. The house was very good because of they put the house in a setting of a junkyard.I think the stairs were really awesome.I also think Byron was very imaginitive. The ending could have been a little bit better. I wish there would be a nother seires like the Spiderwick seiries
Book Review: The Grace Kids Summary: 5 StarsThe Wrath of Mulgrath by Tony Ditelizzi and Holy Black is a fantasy. It talks about a couple of kids who needs a field guide to get their uncle Arther. It says that they had just got home and saw a Griffin, a mystical creature, and a Hobgoblin, is a mystical creature too on the roof of their house. I think the book is a good book.

Book Review: A grand ending Summary: 5 StarsThis is the fifth and final of the series. Unlike some stories, the Spiderwick Chronicals have a finish. This has allowed the author to have a beginnig, middle and end that makes sense. The continuity shows, when the children are able to resolve the difficulties of the fairy world and help their great aunt to come to terms with a loss of many years' standing.
The story confronts the issues of parent's relationships with one another, with the loss of people important to one, with the realities of adulthood, and growing up emotionally whole. It does so gracefully and with panache.
A fun book.
