Book Review: Truely Understand

If you want to truely understand what the greatest hip hop group of all time is all about and/or comprehend what actually goes into composing legendary pieces of art, then buy this book. Their music changed my life, this book changed my life and it's great to have a resource for the Wu to go back to from time to time, whenever you want to explain/dispute something about Wu with somebody else.
(P.S. Read the whole thing from front to back while sitting on the toilet....)

This book shows alot of knowledge that RZA and the clan know about. It shows alot about there history, and shows alot of things most people wouldnt know about wu-tang. Even the fans. A reccomended game for sure! Buy this book now! Its one of them books that keeps you reading to find out more about it. I bought this book because I have been an avid fan of the Wu since high school. I had a feeling it would be good but little did I know that it would be in the tops of the bests books I've ever read in my life. If you've ever listened to a Wu song and wondered what this line meant, or what this word means, look no further. Who knew that there was actual rhyme and reason to ever since word picked for their lyrics.
If this is truely only a volume 1 out of many, I can't wait for the others. No matter what level of Wu fan you are, this will double it at least. Get this book.

I loved this book, my brother loved this book and I thought the Rza did a great job.....its the Wu Review: Wu-Tang Wu-Tang!Summary: 5 Stars "The book you hold in your hands is not a complete biography or a total philosophy of the Wu-Tang Clan." This sums the book up in terms of what the book is about. The Wu-Tang Manual outlines the Rap group's history along with other aspects of their life ranging from religion to even the game of chess. The book is split into 4 parts: Their history (Book One), Philosophy (Book Two), Lyrics (Book Three), & Music (Book Four). They all go into deep detail on how they incorporate these types of things into their life along with explanations of the music business. I wouldn't call this a story as there's no conflict, climax, resolution, etc. Rather though this is more of a documentary written on a book. Overall, I'd recommend this book to fans of the Wu-Tang Clan or even anyone who has little interest in Hip-Hop. Although I have to warn you that there is some use of profanity in this book, but not too much to take away from the experience of reading the book.
