Book Reviews of There's a Wocket in My Pocket! (Dr. Seuss's Book of Ridiculous Rhymes)Book Review: Great book for kids Summary: 5 StarsA favorite of my son who has memorized the entire story. It made for a great Christmas present for the grandparents - the book and a short video of my son reading it at bedtime. Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss?
Book Review: Not interesting. Summary: 2 StarsI found my baby (who is 13 months old now) totally not interested in this book at all. It is one of the books that I wish I did not purchase.
Book Review: Somehow the creatures look just like their names Summary: 5 StarsWhen she was young, my daughter loved this book. The rhymes are so wonderful and the creatures somehow match their images. The Zlock somehow looks like a Zlock, the Zelf like a Zelf and the Bofa like a Bofa. Do your child a favor and enrich their life by reading this book to them.
Book Review: abridged -- in a bad way Summary: 1 StarsAs previously mentioned, this does NOT contain all the text or pictures of the original. In and of itself, this is understandable since the original story is long. But the abriged text in particular is really despicable -- it unnecessarily changes the wording; so random and infinitely inferior.
The only thing this edition has going for it is the fact that it is sturdy. I would not recommend it. Just buy the real thing.
Book Review: Attention! Attention! Attention! Summary: 5 StarsI have 3yr old twins (boy and girl). They love this book!
Each time we read it, we have to read it a second time or a third. Each time I read it faster and they laugh and laugh.
I remember this book from when my other boys were toddlers, (now 19 and 17). We loved it so much then.
This along with other Dr Suess books are a must have with toddlers, being they love to be funny!
