Book Review: A very well researched book that gets results

Napolean Hill spent over 20 years interviewing the most successful men of his time and then put the findings of his study; the characteristics of the most successful people in Think & Grow Rich.The fact is that successful people think differently. This is why a multi-millionaire can lose his entire net worth and have it all back in five years or less while unsuccessful people plod along and never amass any real level of wealth or success.Hill states that when the secret appears to you, whether it be in the first ten pages or on the 200th page, that is when your life will change.This is when you are ready for it.I have known people who read the book and never got it. Not surprisingly, these people have never achieved very much in life either. If you don't get it...you don't get it.Think & Grow Rich is a must read for all those who want success and are ready for it.I wish you the best of succe$$, happiness and wealth.Book Review: All Time Classic

Book Review: All-time favorite self-help book!

Had the rare treat of listening to THINK AND GROW RICH by Napoleon Hill . . . this has always been one of my favorite self-help books; one, in fact, that I attempt to revisit every
few years.
But I had never heard Hill deliver it; i.e., until just recently when I got these CDs . . . what a thrill!
My only regret is that he did not narrate the whole program . . . some other, unnamed narrator did much of the reading, and though he was fine, he just wasn't Hill.
Hill is perhaps best known for having said, "If you can conceive it, you can achieve it" . . . he shows you how here in a step-by-step approach, bringing in his research of many of the nation's
top business and political executives of the time (the late 1930s).
Don't late this date throw you, though . . . the material is still as timely as it has ever been . . . I also like how it applies to virtually every situation in life--and not just attaining money.
That said, if it is money you want, you definitely won't go wrong by following this approach:
The method by which DESIRE for riches can be transmuted into its financial equivalent, consists of six definite, practical steps:
First. Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say "I want plenty of money." Be definite as to the amount. (There is a psychological reason for being definite which will be described in a subsequent chapter.)
Second. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. (There is no such reality as "something for nothing.")
Third. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.
Fourth. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.
Fifth. Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and
describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.
Sixth. Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. AS YOU READ--SEE AND FEEL AND BELIEVE YOURSELF
ALREADY IN POSSESSION OF THE MONEY.

Nepoleon Hill does a superb job of conveying to the reader thefactors that Andrew Carnegie attributed to his success. Hill providesan in depth account of the business ups and downs of one of our history's most powerful industrialists. This book truly teaches people how to Think and Grow Rich! I am just over one year out of college and have become a millionaire by,in large part, taking advantage of the methods that are taught in this book.This is a MUST buy!!!
