My daughter is 3 years old and when we read it, she gets to shout out "Those are my private parts!" She may be a little young for this, but I want to empower her as early as possible. I even heard her sing-songing around the house the other day "Those are my private parts, Those are my private parts." The statistics in the book are eye opening and so very sad. If you think that it is something that only happens to others, think again. Predators are everywhere, some even in your own family. Empower your little ones by giving them permission to say NO!
