Book Review: My Father's Dragon: read it again and again
Summary: 5 Stars
I first read "My Father's Dragon" when I was in first or second grade, and we had to fight to get to it first in the school library, it was so popular. (I am 40 now.) I tried to buy it when I was in college, but it was out of print. I continued to ask about it from time to time, and the first time I heard it was back in print, I ordered immediately. Later, when I had my own child, I began reading it to him, and he loves it also. He is now 13, and still picks it up occasionally, and still enjoys it. I just found out that there is a trilogy, and I am ordering today!!! I plan to order it for my best friend's 2-year-old, and I know they will find it just as enchanting as others have for 50 years. One of the best children's books ever written!
