Book Review: Did not received book but I got prompt refund
Summary: 2 Stars

Through My Eyes

The item was sent supposedly via Postal Service but it never got here. I did get a prompt refund from the seller. My complain it was that I had to email the seller the last day the item was supposed to arrive to know when the item was shipped, they should send an email the moment they ship so the buyer can monitor the shipment. They should use a shipment method with a tracking number so the shipment can be tracked.

Book Review: Excellent book!
Summary: 5 Stars

I was at a book fair, and I saw this book. I thought it was a book about segragation so I thought that it would be a great addition to my classroom library because I don't have any books on the subject. I got home, and I read the book. It is an autobiography on Ruby Bridges. It was a wonderful and captivating story. I learned so much about segration that I never knew. I especially liked the black and white photographs. I really think that it is an excellent book for children.

Book Review: Freedom

Freedom
Though my eyes
By Ruby Bridges

This book is about a true story of a pivotal event in history as Ruby Bridges saw it unfold around her. It is also about a black six year old girl.
An exciting/interesting part is when Ruby Bridges talks at the end of the book and says "I know that experience comes to us for a purpose, and if we follow the guidance of the sprit with us, we will proubly find that the purpose is a good one."
If you like reading about nonfiction books then this is the book for you.
When I read this book I always give it a thumbs up!

Book Review: Great book
Summary: 5 Stars

This book was great; it was about Ruby Briggs experience being one of the first colored children to integrate the elementary schools in the south. It gives a wonderful perspective about how this young girl viewed racism. It also shows the reader that she did not completely understand why some many people were mean to her. It is an extreme eye opener to how strong racism was in the south, at one point it talks about grown women throwing and yelling at Ruby.

Book Review: Great book
Summary: 5 Stars

I found this book really informational and the pictures were great. My mom teaches third grade and she borrowed the book to do a project with her class.
