Book Reviews of Time for BedBook Review: A family favorite, I have bought for all my nieces and nephews. Summary: 5 Stars
It is a sweet, calming bedtime book. The rhyming makes it read easily and almost like a lullaby. The illustrations are beautiful. My kids and I love this book!!
Book Review: A good good-night book Summary: 5 Stars
Mem Fox's beautiful, simple, gentle text frames the detailed and appealing illustrations. Young children will love the different baby animals with their mothers, all being coaxed to sleep at the end of the day. A sweet sharing of a familiar, comforting routine.
Book Review: A lovely lullaby Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of my nightly lullabies for my two boys, aged 3 and 1. It may not look like a lullaby at first, but the rhythm of the words sang to us after a couple of readings. The boys love to find the crescent moon and the baby animals.
Book Review: A must for bedtime Summary: 5 Stars
The animals are wonderful as well as the story. This book is a must for any child's library as they will want you to read it over and over again.
Book Review: A must have story for parents of little ones Summary: 5 Stars
I fell in love with this story before I even had children. Now after a hectic day of chasing a one and a half year old and her speed crawling little sister, I am more than ready for a break! My older daughter enjoys the rhymes and beautiful pictures. She antipates the turn of each page and we discuss the different attributes of each animal (she loves the fact that cats lick their young to groom them) This story makes our one on one time all the more special and is a perfect nightcap to a busy day.
