Book Review: ADORABLE !!!! ryhmes and illustrations

This is such a sweet book !!!! My son just loves this book. At two he was finishing the lines that the mother would say to her baby. The pictures are excellent and the human baby and mommy at the end make kids feel warm and snuggly. Every child should have a copy of this book and the good feelings that go along with it.

I have a three year old daughter and this book is both our favorites. Animals are always a kid pleaser. What better way to prepare your child for bed than saying goodnight to all the animals. Book Review: Baby adores book

My 18 month old has adored this book since 9 months. Now that she is able to walk whenever I say go and bring a book, she goes for this one, even though she has scores of books on her shelf. The pictures are brilliant and beautiful and encompass each entire page. I never bore of reading the book to her myself. Be careful though children this age and younger are prone to tearing the pages (although the sheets are thick). Ours has tape throughout but it is still mine and her favorite.Book Review: Beaautifully illustrated-hypnotic,not boring. Bedtime magic!

This book is the perfect read for small children at bedtime.Even the beautiful and sweet (but not sappy or saccharine)illustrations convey the sense of the world going to sleep that is very soothing. Careful you don't fall asleep yourself!kids age 2-4 loved it. The rhymes are deceptively simple, but the perfect cadence to help kids relax for bed:
"It's time for bed, Little goose, little goose,
The stars are out and on the loose."
If the kids still aren't asleep at the end of the book, we made up our own rhymes for more animals going to sleep, reread the book, and it was guaranteed sleepy time.
A wonderful bedtime story-definite winner.
Book Review: Beautiful board book

This is a great book for babies or toddlers who are getting a bed time routine. The rhyming throughout the book and beautiful pictures keep my 16 month old entertained throughout the book. And,when she sees the little girl on the last page she knows it's time for her to go to bed as well. Highly recommended!
