Book Review: Non-traditional fantasy adventure exploring faith, religion, sexuality and betrayal

This book was different than I expected. With the subject matter dealing at least in part with religion, I was thinking it would be slow-paced; more reflective and cerebral. I was expecting an emotional story based more upon character motivation rather than being plot driven.
Quite the contrary; though it had it's emotional moments, it was definitely an adventure. It was a roller coaster ride, in fact. The story line definitely had lots of action, with many plot twists, turns and surprises. It dealt with an almost epic character base and it had definitely "edge of your seat" action, almost the whole time. But though more plot-driven, it nevertheless made me re-think some traditional religious concepts.
The book was very visual, in that it vividly painted fantastic other-worldly scenarios that could easily be seen in the mind's eye. It had very unique slants and interpretations of both traditional and non-traditional religious concepts and beliefs, often joining elements of different faiths. At times the story blended them into an almost Forest Gump-ish bittersweet amalgam.
It definitely kept me entralled. I don't think I've ever read a book that had both non-traditional religious and sexuality elements so openly present and intertwined with the plot. This book isn't for everyone because of those unique elements; it is for the open-minded only. But I really liked this book because it had a way of making me think outside the box and ponder ideas that I hadn't thought about in ages, or had never crossed my mind.

I loved this book! Michael writes with such vivid details that you feel as though you are part of the story. Roman, Blair and Darby are chosen to be God's warriors to help fight a battle for Earth's survival. If you enjoy suspense, love, sex, mystery, humor, have an open mind and can think outside the box, this book is for you! The family bond that is formed from such three uniquely different people, with such diverse backgrounds makes you realize that anything in this world is possible!Book Review: a story to capture your heart as well as your soul

I would like to say that i had the best experience reading this novel. I suggest this book to anyone who would like to take a jorney they will never forget.. The first book i have cared to read more than once in a...well a very long time.. Shows the undying love of God that knows no bounds for anyone no matter who you are.. So i would suggest that this book be a top priority read. Will definately keep you coming back to pick it up for more.. If you are looking for a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat and wanting more then you have definitely found it. This book is a great fantasy about the battle between good and evil. There are so many twists and turns, the action just never stops. It seems like every time I turned the page there was another surprise waiting for me. There is something for everyone in this wonderful story...science fiction, religion, action, romance, sex, and suspense. I look forward to this author's next novel!Book Review: terrible, terrible

i cannot even begin to describe how awful this book is, no sentence structure, the plot is convoluted beyond imagination, and its a though a thirteen year old wrote it...there is absolutely no redeeming quality to the book in anyway....
