Book Review: DE OPRESSO LIBER
Summary: 5 Stars
LIBERATORS OF THE OPPRESSED. Intresting book about soldiers, well capable of many different missions - the green berets of US ARMY. It is intresting to read about their training, witch is long and hard. I think that this book gives the reader a werry good knowledge about Special Forces and how these units are built and organized. Shumacher has taken good pictures and you get the feeling of the actual training.
As a finn I must remember you about Larry Thorne, Lauri T?rni - from Finland, that went to the states after the second world war. Thorne was a born soldier and become one of the green berets legend. John Wayne had him as an role model in the movie "The green berets". Thorne was shot down in a helicopter during a mission. He was found a few years ago and is now burried at Arlington in Washington DC. Greetings from a special forces fan in Finland!
