Although this book is, on the whole, outstanding, I believe that more pages should have been about the more recent years, eg Bat 2, Welcome to the Neighbourhood and even The Very Best Of. The childhood stories are both hilarious and moving, and obviously written from the heart. Meat's time before Bat Out Of Hell is interesting, although I feel too much time is spent on it. I would certainly recommend this book to all Meat Loaf fans, and anyone else who enjoys inspiring tales- which this definitely is.
