Book Review: A MUST HAVE for IC patients

I just want to thank the author for having the courage to follow her instincts, to never accept that IC is something that she'd just have to live with, for researching and doing so much hard work and for writing this book and sharing her experience with the rest of the world. I also want to thank her husband who was so supportive and gave her the love and atmosphere that she needed to heal. I can really relate to what the author shares with us about her husband because I, too, have a wonderful man in my life who give me so much love and support and strength while I am trying to find my way back to health. This book made me laugh and cry. I can't begin to explain how comforting it was to read about someone else that was going thru the same IC expereince as I was. She makes the connection between the bladder symptoms and issues and the other illnesses, symptoms that many IC patients suffer with. It was nice to know that I wasn't just a hypochondriac or 'going crazy'. This is a must have for anyone suffering from mild to severe IC. It gave me so much hope that I can get better and have a normal life again. This book is really about reaching out to other ICer's, sharing the experience, and letting people know there are alternatives out there..It's about empowering people..just a great book.!!!!!
