Book Reviews of Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography

Book Review: Finally, a MUST READ !!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Tom Cruise and his "religion" Scientology, finally exposed.

Buy it if for no other reason then to learn about what happens to the dull of mind when they become emersed within a cult. Perhaps Cruise should have considered an education.

I feel for Ms. Kidman, whose children are being homeschooled by these people.

Who knew that Anne Archer, John Travolta, and Kelly Preston believe that the evil Galactic Warlord Xenu blew up millions of captured aliens on Earth whose spirits still plague each and every one of us today?

Place your money on the counter folks and have the negative spirits (thetans) removed! (buy this book to see how they do this, FOCLMAO!)

Learn and read.

Book Review: Shocking! Hurtful! Overwrought!
Summary: 5 Stars

No I'm not talking about Cruise's performance in "Cocktail," I am talking about Morton's patently unfair biography of TC.

I'm not saying that Morton was incorrect about anything he alleges in the book, I'm just saying you do not criticize Tom Cruise if you know what's good for you and the moviegoing public. I heard a rumor that Cruise is threatening to do a sequel to "Days of Thunder" if Morton doesn't retract some of the more hurtful allegations.

So, Andrew, I ask you in the spirit of all that's right in the world, "please do not subject us a permed-TC driving a stock car again."

Book Review: Courageous use of Free Speech!
Summary: 5 Stars

Let's face it, the Scientologists will do anything to prevent people from practicing their freedom of speech. Unless you agree with them (of course). I think this book is very well written and gives a historical account of the life of the actor. Great job Mr. Morton! I actually felt more compassion for the guy after reading about his life. It is so sad that he fell hard into a cult "religion". The book gives us a better understanding of why he did and who he is today as a result. Thank Heaven we do not repress people from their opinions in America as in other parts of the world! Hopefully this book will make more people aware of the dangers of cults...

Book Review: Even Nicole Kidman Got Bored
Summary: 3 Stars

Every penny that Andrew Morton makes on this book is deserved. He had to spend months researching Tom Cruise, who turns out to be one of the most boring movie stars ever. We learn that Cruise is grindingly ambitious, most comformable talking sports with his heterosexual buddies and (big suprise) totally dedicated to Scientology.

As Nicole Kidman's interests turned to the theater and more sophisticated movie projects, Cruise sulked while Kidman's new friends pegged him as a one-dimensional intellectual lightweight. True to form, Cruise eventually dropped Kidman without explanation.

Morton maintains that Cruise is a good dad. Cruise is also apparently very loving and loyal to his mom and sisters. Seeing Cruise's life from the beginning makes one understand why he is stuck in a pattern of dating and marrying women in their 20s. Young women are more likely to take him seriously as a person.

Finally, Morton believes that Cruise is not gay. Too bad, if only because any departure from the norm (sexual or otherwise) is really needed, especially in the second half of the book.

Book Review: This is friggin awsome!
Summary: 5 Stars

Tom Cruise is a frigging weirdo! I bet that some of the claims are a tad stretched or so...but really, Scientology>? Oh my goodness, L. RON as my friend states "Is a wonderful science fiction writer with a love for underage boys". Yes people, lets build a pseudo religion together...
As far a the "Cruise" goes, this book is sooooooooo entertaining. Whether it is completely true, you will still get a chuckle out of it. But the thing is, I can actually see Tom doing the things that the book claims...lol. Haha I have not laughed so hard since the Cruise episode on South Park...
