Book Reviews of Too Fat to FishBook Review: A Great Read! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this book as a gift for my husband. He usually reads magazines and newspapers, but not books. He read this book from cover to cover in just a couple days. He absolutely loved it and shared many of the stories with me.
Book Review: A Must-Read! Summary: 5 Stars
This unbelievable recollection of Artie's life so far will have you crying, laughing and feeling sad in a matter of minutes. Although it is a pretty big book, it's a quick read because you will find yourself wanting to read on chapter after chapter. Love you Artie!!
Book Review: A good Bio for Stern fans Summary: 3 Stars
This is a quiet read for the evening. Will go over big with Stern fanatics, but I don't see NY Tmes bestseller other than in number of sales just due to his connection to the show.
Book Review: A good read, but not "ha-ha" all the time Summary: 4 Stars
You only think you know Artie Lange. The comedian, actor, and Stern show regular portrays himself as a Jersey goomba who made good. As this book clearly shows, Mr. Lange is very intelligent, a good story-teller, and insanely self-destructive.
"Too Fat To Fish" is entertaining, packed with great stories of Mr. Lange's life. But the sections on his various addictions and follies are engrossing and saddening.
Some parts made me laugh out loud and some made me cry. I'm not sure if I am reading the whole truth all the time. Mr. Lange never lets the truth get in the way of a good story-like the comedian he is.
Sometimes the chatty style and use of slang does not translate well to the written page. But if you want to know more about Artie, this book is a must-have.
Book Review: A must for Artie Lang fans. Summary: 5 Stars
A great book and a must for the Artie Lang Fans. A lot of personal stuff and what has gone on in his life.
