Book Review: "Our greatest living writer"
Summary: 5 Stars
I recently read a review of Alice Munro's work in which she was described as "our greatest living writer". I agree.
I am always impressed with Munro's ability to give the reader scope and depth of a character's life. I find that a rare gift among short story writers.
This collection will not disappoint you. I especially enjoyed the story 'Face', in part because Munro only infrequently gives us a male lead character.
