Book Review: Grunge at its finest!
Summary: 5 Stars
This book is great for anyone interested in the Seattle Grunge which started in the late 80's with bands such as green river, Soundgarden, screaming trees. The most well known bands to come from this scene were probably Nirvana,Pearl jam and alice in chains. Most the early grunge bands signed to the record label sub pop, this got the bands noticed, and let everyone hear this unique sound that was so guitary and heavy. this book shows you everything that was great about the scene. All the pictures are in black and white, some can be slightly blurred, showing the movement and the energy of a lot of the bands. I think that the main reason i loved this book so much, was that i got to see all the members of my favourite bands when they were at their best! So i would definately recommend this book to anyone who listens to late 80's or early 90's rock because it shows everything that makes rock music so excitig to watch, and the photos are just brilliant and i think Charles Peterson is an amazing photographer
