Book Review: school project review for touching spirit bear Summary: 3 Stars
In this book Touching Spirit Bear Cole is a young boy that is struggling through life. He is bitter and angry at the world and feels that everyone owes him something, also he think he can do everything on his own and doesn't need help from anyone or anything. Cole is found guilty of beating up a kid for turning him in for committing a crime and is sentenced to something called the circle justice program where he has to live on his own on an island for a year with out anyone else, Cole thinks that living out there is ridicules and going to be very easy especially since he is planning on leaving as soon as he get a chance and can build some sort of raft.
I think that the circle justice program is a very good opportunity for Cole if he would take advantage of the help people are offering him instead of taking advantage of the people. Cole seam like someone that has been betrayed and therefore no longer trusts anyone and doesn't want to interact with anyone. If I where Cole I would just accept the consequences for what I had done and stay on the island and come back with a clean slate to start a new life.
