Book Reviews of TributeBook Review: Not as Good Summary: 2 Stars
I love Nora Roberts books , but this in my opinion is not one of her best.It is hard to follow at times, but still I kept reading and finished it !! Waiting on her next book !!
Book Review: Not her best or even close to mediocore. Summary: 2 Stars
I was really excited to start this book because the blurb made it sound very promising. In fact, I read 120 pages on my first night, but not because it was interesting. I read 120 pages hoping it would get better, but it actually only got worse. Ford and Cilla's relationship seemed to move too fast and too slow at the same time. The dream sequences between Cilla and her grandmother were odd, almost as if Roberts decided to throw them in there just for the hell of it. I say they are odd because Cilla never met her grandmother, who died long before Cilla was born, and the dream sequences were rather pointless and unnecessary to the main plot. Overall, too much description about flipping houses. I feel like I can go out for my contractor's license now that I've read this book...
Book Review: Not up to Par Summary: 1 Stars
I've gone through most of Nora Roberts books. She has a standard. Girl had problem or some drama going on. Girl meets boy. Boy is too perfect. Boy falls in love with Girl while helping her with said drama. Girl drags her feet after Boy proclaims his love. (why is that?) Girl gets a clue and admits love. Girl and Boy overcome her drama and save the day. Same basic story line just different girls and boys and different drama. This book, however, you know if I'd wanted to read about "flipping" houses I would have bought a HOW TO book! The only thing that kept me going was the dog. The dog was almost human and quite funny. This book was not as bad but came close to Northern Lights. I wouldn't bother with it. I'd read something better if I had the time to burn!
Book Review: Not up to her standards... Summary: 2 Stars
Nope this book wasn't what I'm used to in a Roberts book. Too much information about rehabbing and couldn't get into comic guy. Figured out the bad guys both of them right off the hop. Should have waited for the paperback. Sorry Nora.
Book Review: One of my favorites from Nora Summary: 5 Stars
Lovely summer read. I guessed who the bad guy was as soon as we met the character, but I think that's just because I'm familiar with her style. This is the first book EVER that I've finished, then immediately turned to the beginning and started again. Loved the characters!
