There are 400 pages to this book, yet 200 were probably unnecessary. This book is described as a story about three sisters. The first 1/3 of the book is mostly about Vivi. She marries someone that no one likes or trusts. He gets arrested. The story drags on and on about this. The oldest sister character Winona, and overweight lawyer, really has nothing of interest in her portion of the story. She's overweight, she can't find love, etc.etc. The middle sister Aurora disappears in the majority of the story except for being mentioned when the sister's go to a bar or fix Win up for an occasion. Aurora gets divorced, her children...uh, are no longer mentioned in the story. Then the last 1/4 of the book we get to read Noah's (Vivi's son's) journal, zzzzzzzz. He's a rebellious teen and what he writes just distracts from the story.
This book was a huge disappointment. I waited for it to get better. It didn't.
