You make think that since this is a Bible that you can trust the contents of each for your teenage daughter to read. WRONG! It may say Bible but the footnotes and side bar comments on the scriptures are many times X rated. On page 123 it talks about casual sex and oral sex. Then later on in the book it asks you to ponder the question, AM I GAY. As a concerned parent I called the publisher, Zondervan, to express my concern. The supervisors said that they saw nothing wrong with it, that they have to learn about sex somewhere. The parents aren't teaching them. I for one am returning the Bible to the book store. I will also stop buying Zondervan books since they don't seem to care about the clean moral values of my young daughter. There are a lot of better Bible publishing companies out there.
