Elizabeth Miles has collected a great deal of evidence from many sources in this book. In doing so she cuts through a lot of the hype and metaphor that usually surrounds this kind of work, gives us the facts and offers us lots of different ways to try using music in our lives, and to notice the results. I recommend this book without reservation. The associated CDs are good too.
