Book Reviews of Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1)Book Review: Twilight Review Summary: 5 StarsA friend gave me this book, and it's sequel, as a birthday gift. I was reading another book at the time, but as soon as I cracked open Twilight, the other book was long forgotten. I was hooked once I read to about the second chapter. I am convinced that if my schedule had been a little less hectic at the time, I could have easily found a cozy little spot somewhere and read the book from cover to cover. However, I didn't have time to do this, and so, I admitt, that I read Twilight by the light of my cell phone, on a school night, turning the pages as quietly as I could so as not to alert my mother, who probably thought that I had beeen asleep for hours. I reccomend this book to any and everyone. It is action-packed and impossible to put down. Definately one of my favorites!
Book Review: a must read!! Summary: 5 StarsOn a whim I picked this book up at my favorite bookstore, and I wasn't disappointed. I like my fantasy stories to be somewhat grounded in reality. The author did a wonderful job of making me feel like this story could happen. There is something bittersweet about Bella and Edwards love story. I will defiantly be following the series as it progresses.
Book Review: Amazing Summary: 5 StarsI bought this book after I heard about eclipse on tv. I wasn't even going to buy it til I found out the book I wanted was in. So I figured I would read it. It took me two days to read the whole book and I only stopped to eat it was so good I couldn't put it down. After I read it I bought New moon and Eclipse.
Book Review: twilight Summary: 5 StarsI was quitting smoking and I was trying to find distraction. Did I ever. I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!!! In the morning I went to Barnes and Noble to buy the next one. I was mortified that it was in the " teen" section. WTF, it's bad enough that I have to go to the romance section to buy the Charlie Harris books but apparently my reading skills have hit a new low. But you know what -- F- it, good is good. And this book is good. Simple yet I have never been more in love with a character than I am with Edward. The only thing that bums me out is the fact the main character is portrayed too boring, plain. I mean what does he see in this goody goody virgin other than she smells good? Need more development. Also a little to quick on the "love" talk. Still congrats to the author. LOVE IT!!!! I think a lot of adults are missing out on this one due to strange marketing.
Book Review: Wow!! Summary: 5 StarsI love Anne Rice's, "Vampire Chronicles," and have found that i LOVED this book, as well. Though quite different than the "Vampire Chronicles," Stephenie Meyer does a great job of making vampires seem humanly and have personalities other than just as blood suckers-just as Anne Rice does.
I think a lot of people will enjoy this book!
