Book Reviews of Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1)Book Review: All in all, a good read. Summary: 4 StarsI originally wanted to read Twilight due to the Facebook groups dedicated to Edward Cullen - the male lead character in the book. And, I was not diappointed.
Bella Swan, the female lead character was somewhat plain - her personality and perspective seemed a little unimaginative to me - compared to the new perspective Meyer gives on vampires. Edward Cullen however was enigmatic and 'smoudlering'... officially one of those male fictional characters like Mr Rochester you can't help but fall in love with.
Overall, the romance aspect of the book certainly drowned out the horror elements, however the ending was full of enough suspense to get you slightly worried about the fate of Bella (well, unless you are aware that the book is the first in a triolgy that is...)
All in all, it may not be a litery classic, but I certainly couldn't put the boom down (I read all 450 pages in one afternoon) and it is perfect for secret romantics, those interested in a new perspective on vampire folklore, or simply as an attention grabbing holiday read.
Book Review: Wow Summary: 5 StarsTwilight was the 1st Shephenie Meyer book i have ever read and , wow , it just totaly took my breath away . I have never read a book which keeps you so intent with anticipation! It was one of the best things i have ever done in my life , i read it in 4 days , a month ago and i am still thinking about it !!!!
Words can't discribe how brilliant it is , well done Stephenie Meyer !
Book Review: Best Fiction Book Ever Summary: 5 StarsI've read this book twice, and my mom has read it three times! It's really a passionate, envolving story. Be sure you don't miss it!
Book Review: fantastic storyline, wonderful characters! Summary: 5 StarsI bought this book not knowing anything about it at all. After reading the first chapter it was hard to stop!
This book has fantastic characters which you just wish were real people, you receive a very detailed insight into the day to day life of the main character Isabella Swan (oops! sorry, Bella Swan!) and become so caught up in her life that it is hard to stop reading about it.
Yes, it is a teen story and yes it is full of lovely romance told from a 17 year old girls perspective but that doesn't mean it is cheesy at all. I loved it and I'm pretty sure anyone else would too.
Even if you aren't into teenage vampire stories, I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it too :)
also make sure you read the books that follow this one, New Moon and Eclipse!
Book Review: Could not put the book down Summary: 4 Stars...The book was brill, I read it in 2 days! The best vampire-human love story I have read in a while. Four stars instead of five, as it's more toward young adults than adults.
