Book Reviews of Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1)Book Review: Excellent! Summary: 5 StarsTwilight is a great story about the love between the Vampire, Edward and the human, Bella. The story is great and i really did enjoy it....Especially how Edward wants to kill her but loves her at the same time. I think its a great Fantasy series to read now that Harry Potter is over!
I've bought the second book 'New Moon' and am gonna start reading it asap!
Book Review: Love it! Summary: 5 StarsOriginally, I borrowed this book from a friend because I had nothing new to read at the time. It was my first vampire book.
I started reading it late on a Friday night and had finished by Saturday afternoon the next day. I couldn't put it down!
The plot is wonderful and kept me hooked until the final page. The love between Edward and Bella is great, especially as he craves her blood over everyone else.
Not long after I'd given it back to my friend, I had to buy it for myself and have re-read it over and over!
An amazing series, a must-read!
It's sequel, New Moon, is another fabulous book. Can't wait to get my hands on Eclipse!
Book Review: Awe-inspiring Summary: 5 StarsThe best vampire since anne rice's The Vampire Chronicles and Bram Stokers Dracula. This book made me fall in love again with litrature after an unusual dry spell of interesting reads (personally).
I enjoyed this book from the first letter to the final page, never putting it down. Iread thisd book in under 12 hours, starting it a 3p.m the day i got it and not putting it down till i finidhes the last sentance (12a.m ish)
I havent been as captivated by such a strong love story as Bella and Edwards since Elizabeth and Mr.Darcy (Pride and Prejudice) and im looking forward to reading more....
Book Review: the best book ever - get the sequels too! Summary: 5 Starsthis is my favorite book in the entire universe and wherever else there may be. i read it seven times over in a row.
the best part of it if most likely the story, which is just phenomenal. the characters are also very believable, and there are no plot holes; at least, none that I can see. the writing style is maybe mildly formal, but the dialogue is modern and realistic. obviously, it won't seem entirely realistic - I mean, it's a story about vampires - but if these creatures did exist, Stephenie Meyer's version of it would be their way of living.
Book Review: The best book a read in a loooooong time Summary: 5 StarsI first read twilight around two weeks ago. I'd seen it on Amazon and quite honestly I felt compelled to buy it, but after reading the synopsis, I expected it just to be a little `light hearted fun.'
By that, I mean a good book that was worth reading, but you quickly sell after finishing it. Boy, I was wrong! You couldn't separate me from this book now! I may even save it for my children!
The thing that attracted me to it in the first place, was the word `Vampire' (they are my favourite mythical creatures), the second aspect of the book that caught may attention, was the fact that it was about a girl in high school. Me, being a teenage girl myself, occasionally like to read books I can relate to (of course, I can't relate to the Vampires in some aspects!)
I thought it would be a slightly cheesy teenage version of the film `A little Vampire' in a book. But, once I started, I could not stop. It was like any other teenage romance tale, but the twist of the vampires made it thrilling, and Mrs Meyers writing skills are as captivating as JK Rowling's herself!
She has made her own little fantasy world, and I still can't get the characters out of my head! I did not put it down once I started, aside from eating etc! It was honestly the best book I'd read in such a long time! It was both a fun read, and also something that made me think.
I would recommend it to anyone, with book interests ranging from Jane Eyre to Harry Potter, and Noughts and Crosses to Artemis fowl!
Unless you detest romance, or are repulsed by anything remotely unrealistic (the Vampires are the only unbelievable factor, the way the characters lives flow and become complicated is very real!) then this is the book for you! Of course, I can only completely recommended this for teenage girls, but many generations and even men have admitted to reading this!
I have truly become obsessed, that is my only warning, it does invade your head
I've literally just finished the third book, and I even paid extra to have it flown over from America! It's honestly that good!
