You would expect a book that aims to show off 50 of the worlds "ultimate" aquariums to be packed with photographs. It is. But unfortunately an unbelievable number of them are out of focus. And not just mildly off focus. In some shots you cannot even tell what you are looking at which seriously marred my enjoyment of this book. I suspect everyone will query the acolade of "ultimate" being applied to all of these aquariums some of which I personally thought looked quite ordinary. And it is a shame that it is so heavily focussed on American aquaria. I found "Reef Secrets" by Nilsen and Fosser much more inspirational.
These comments relate to the hardback edition which I purchased from Amazon. I don't know if these problems are attributable to poor printing or poor photography but I'd advise you to be very wary of purchasing this paperback without seeing a copy first.
