Book Review: Unfinished Business - The Life & Times of Danny Gatton.
Summary: 4 Stars
A well written book by Ralph Heibutzki, containing anecdotes and memories from the many people who played and hung about with Gatton.The book goes someway to explaining the rift between Gattons estate and NRG records, but does not contain any information from his mother who ran NRG.
At times, the many names mentioned in the book seemed to confuse and I would have liked to have seen an appendix in the book cross referenced to the many names.
This should not detract from the fact that this is a well written book and must have been the subject of considerable research by the author.
I feel that this book was close to 5 stars but I have marked it 4 for the above reasons.
If you are a Danny Gatton fan then this book is a "must have" and will certainly stay in my collection.
