Please don't buy this book on the basis of the description in the synopsis:
"Upon her return to civilisation the body count starts to rise" - what body count?
"who is behind the string of murders" - what murders?
It is well written and is very like Linda Howard of old, in places, but it didn't develop which left me very disappointed. As for the culprit? A half dozen paragraphs and a "fair enough I did it" - very poor. Ms Howard's romantic element was always fantastic, but again here it all fades away. Surely there is not going to be a sequel, as in her last poor effort about the cheerleader and policeman (can't even be bothered checking on this one's name). But like all her books, I'll read it again. Maybe I've missed something, like a dead body somewhere. Oh well!
