I purchased this book in order to learn more about becoming a voice-over performer. What I learned through reading it is that I already know a great deal about it. Although Hogan's journey to success took place long before I ever entered the voice-over, broadcast, and advertising worlds, his stories and advice ring as true today in the digital age as they did in analog times. I know now that I'm at least on the right track as far as my career path goes. I would recommend this book to any beginner considering a career in voice-overs, broadcasting, advertising, marketing, or any of the performing arts, as well as seasoned professionals on either side of the microphone.
