WAKING WITH ENEMIES by Eric Jerome Dickey is the exciting sequel to SLEEPING WITH STRANGERS. Gideon is back...and the man with the broken nose is still hot on Gideon's trail in London. Gideon also has a steamy sexual tryst with two lovely but yet different women. Both of these women come to him in need of a safe place to be but Gideon begins to wonder if they are friends...or enemies.
WAKING WITH ENEMIES by Eric Jerome Dickey was an excellent book! Mr. Dickey's erotic talents shine in this novel. WAKING WITH ENEMIES is a book of mystery, murder and erotica. I look forward to reading the next book in this saga...DYING FOR REVENGE.

Book Review: Gideon is Back!

This is another exciting book from acclaimed author Eric Jerome Dickey. Gideon is back, and this time instead of being the hunter, he's the hunted. Not sure who to trust, Gideon is on his own. In order to survive, he must unearth secrets that may destroy him. This book, like all of Dickey's, is a must read! Get it today!Book Review: Great Sequel

I rated Sleeping with Strangers 3 stars, but this one gets 4 stars. It has much more action and excitement than it's predecessor. This was a page-turner that I could not put down. The reasons it didn't get a 5 star were: 1)2-3 chapters are dedicated to sex scenes between Gideon and the 2 women from the plane. Even though I do think romance adds something to a story, the scenes could've been spread out a little more. I am not sure how realistic it is for a hitman with someone following him to have time for that much sex at any given time. 2)By the end, I really wanted Gideon to sort of pick 1 of the women. That again seems unrealistic to me for 3 grown adults to travel in a threesome and for the women to be fine with "sharing" Gideon for this extended period of time.
The book started with action that you would expect would be typical for a hitman and pretty much ended that way as well. The story and characters were extremely interesting from beginning to end. Gideon became a sympathic character for me. Even though his profession is wrong, he had me rooting for him the whole time and hoping he didn't get killed. EJD really showcased the softer side, more humanistic side of Gideon.
This was an excellent follow-up from the 1st book. WOuld definitely recommend it.

Once again Eric Jerome Dickey has hit a home run! I could see everything his characters saw, feel every emotion; i felt like i was right there in the "action".
Mr. Dickey really knows how to get and hold your attention.

Naughty or NiceWaking with Enemies The books were brought for my son, who is prison so he would have something to read, he asked me to buy them for him, I've already read Naughty or nice and it was a good book I enjoyed reading some of Eric Jerome Dickey's, books they keep you guessing what's next. I would share the one's I've read so far with any of my friends, I like a good novel that keeps you wanting to read more and look to the next sequel.
