Book Review: A great read on the inside story of a rock'n'roll band

As an Aerosmith fan I could not put this book down, but I feel any Rock 'n' Roll fan would enjoy this read. It is about some young men getting together to form a great band, only to have it fall apart from the excess's that go with it. Then the rise again after staightening out their lives told by the band and the people close to them.Book Review: What else could you ask for?

As an Aerosmith lover, I almost ran to Mama-kins to get a signed book...but that fell through. Then when I saw it again in NYC, a signed copy no less, i knew i had to go get the book. It's set-up totally different from your run of the mill auto, makes you appreciate how much crap Steve Davis went through compiling it all. This was a great book. It was heartbreaking to read of the addictions, dependencies and depravities that plaque so many of the bands of modern times. I found myself rooting for Aerosmith all the way. Their story should be an inspiration to anyone who is in the grips of drug addiction and a warning to up and coming bands of the pitfalls of celebrity and to people in general of the dangers of certain excesses.. I am a huge Steven Tyler fan and admire his honesty about still resenting his "intervention" because of the circumstances under which it was done. I give him even more credit for succeeding in spite of his resentment. Walk This Way is a true success story told honestly by the people who lived it. Here's hoping they're around for another 30 years.Book Review: Great read about the greatest rock band in the world!
