Book Review: Big Disappointment

It s an interesting topic about a region and time period which saw various nomad states rise to power, invade and plunder various settled civilizations, and change the dynamics of the western world through forced migration of various groups. Scythians, Sarmatians, Huns, Mogols, Tatars, Naimans, Uighurs and many other steppe cultures are interesting not just because of their affect on city-states & cultures but also because there is not much written history on them.
I criticise the book because whole personalities, dynasties and occasionally centuries are covered in single paragraphs and the author makes statements about such a sparsely-documented period with absolute certainty e.g., when/where Chinggis Han died which are long disputed subjects or about relationships between various nomad rulers.
So, unfortunately a big disappointment
