Book Reviews of Watchers

Book Review: better than the movie!
Summary: 5 Stars

i am a horror movie fan. i love it and if you are a horror fan too, you'll love this book. way better than the movie, watchers.

Book Review: i love this book!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is, quite simply, the best book i have ever read. The characters are complex yet believable and there is some true though that went into its writing, if you ask why koontz is my favorite author, i only need to reply with one word- Watchers

Book Review: never fear, Einstein's here
Summary: 5 Stars

This is by far my favorite Dean Koontz novel. The premise: a laboratory conducting illegal genetic research has produced its two greatest accomplishments- a dog with the intelligence of a human (and he's psychic) and a crazed psychopathic creature with an insatiable appetite for human blood. Both creatures escape; the creature begins his rampage while the dog is picked up by a guy with his own problems in life. It just gets better from there. This novel follows in the vein of Koontz's latest novel Dragon Tears (review to come later) and only displays Koontz's writing prowess. I read this book in about three hours and you probably will, too. Dean Koontz has done it again... written a novel that isn't just a passing fad. Adios and happy reading.

Book Review: three and a half
Summary: 4 Stars

I don't understand why the rating on this book is so high... in my opinion (to each their own), the plot was, for lack of a better word, silly, and the dialogue was somewhat laughable at times. The reason that I give it a higher rating than 2 or so stars is the dog. He's just pretty cool. A dog that can communicate via scrabble pieces is pretty original and comes up with some cool plot devices. Theres actually a few good moments of suspense, as well.
It just feels so B-Movie like to me.

Book Review: very enjoyable read
Summary: 5 Stars

I very much enjoyed working my way through this book. I devoured it in a mere two days. The diversity in characters and contrast in tones between plotlines truly showed off the author's skill. Imaginative and captivating. I didn't want it to end.
