Book Review: Awesome book every serious reader MUST read!

This book is definitely difficult to put down. It contains EVERYTHING for the reader: suspense, love of dogs & their relationship to man, animal research labs, positive & negative aspects of new gene-splicing technology, government intervention & control, people who have been emotionally damaged that must endure extreme situations . . "Watchers" has something that touchs the very soul of every person; something for every reader to identify with! I'm forever a fan of Dean Koontz after reading this book. "Watchers" gives the reader a glimpse of Mr. Koontz's heart and mind & it is a heart & mind every serious reader will greatly appreciate!Book Review: Awsome book...great read.

This is an amazing book. Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down just like all the other books by Dean Koontz. He keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole book. Love the perfect balance between love and action. I think this is such a good idea. I love how Dean explains his ideas for his books thoroughly and do not just leave you hanging. Every time I finish another one of his books, he has me thinking...it could happen. This book is definitely a must buy and a must read.Book Review: BEST BOOK EVER!!!!

Dang. Maybe my expectations were too high, because I'm already a DK fan (his Frankenstein was awesome) and I know that Watchers is one of his most acclaimed works. Regardless, I just couldn't get into this one. I kept expecting edge-of-your-seat suspense, but I found my mind wandering as I read descriptions of wooded areas and such. I finally couldn't bring myself to pick the book back up after 50 pages, so I decided to give up. I'm pretty sure the fault here is mine - I am so easily bored, and perhaps I didn't have the patience to wade through the details to get to the meat of the story. But I did give up nonetheless, so the best I can rate this book is two stars. Sorry Mr. Koontz - please don't send any monsters after me!Book Review: Best Dean Koontz Novels

This novel is one of his best - and he has written so many great novels.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. This is my 3rd copy and I have read the story at least 6 times.
