For anyone having any type of gastric bypass or lapband surgery, this book is extremely helpful! It not only talks about the options but what you can expect in the hospital and once home, as well as giving good information on topics such as plateaus, vitamins, psychological issues, plastic surgery, etc. Because it is written by someone who has gone through the surgery herself, you get a first-person point of view. However, your experience may differ from the author's and some of her experiences may not be yours. However, overall the book is a must-have!
