Book Review: I am a Weight Watchers leader and this is way overpriced

Weight Watchers does not sell their products at twice the prize on Amazon or ebay. You can see the name of who is selling it...and, not surprisingly, there is no affiliation.
I am a Weight Watchers leader and there is no need to buy this here.
Many people don't realize that you don't have to be a weight watchers member to buy supplies AND food at the Weight Watchers center but that's part of our service. AND no one will price gouge you there.
And I HATE to see people trying to lose weight get ripped off and if this is a new pocket guide with no stamps in it, that means it's being sold by a WW employee for extra cash which is even worse...it's simply unethical and taking advantage of others.
I can tell you right now that we sell a points calculator that does the same thing as this at the centers, but faster and that isn't made of paper for ten bucks. No tax. No shipping. That's it AND it is guaranteed to work or you return it to the center. You will not get that guararntee here, if this one is even the one we use and not a copy. this is just a paper slide rule that will fall apart and doesn't tell you your daily points target.
Some people, because they know they can buy things at the WW centers, go in and buy lots then gouge people online who don't know they can get them locally very easily at a Weight Watchers location near them for tons less. Because Weight Watachers does not sell on Amazon or ebay and you cannot go in and just buy these, if these are unused and new, they were stolen from Weight Watchers. A pocket guide would be given to a member their first day and written in by the leader. If this one has no stamps or writing, then it's coming from an employee who is using their materials for cash. Or from someone who stole from a center. Don't support it...
That said, this will NOT teach you how many points you need. Just how to add up nutritional information, which the calculator will do better. Finding out how many points you need can only be done in the week one materials which this does not include and 2 people of the same height and weight can have totally different points based on the quiz they take in week one.
So, you make the choice...if you simply cannot find a center near you after going to the ww website or you are housebound, perhaps it's worth the cost, but otherwise I had to speak up because for this price you could get the points calculator AND go out and buy yourself some fresh fruits and veggies to go on it for your health!!

p.s. These are about to be replaced with a larger and different pocket guide with a sturdier cover in a plastic sleeve...just went to the meeting about the new tools yesterday so by the time you get it it may, unfortunately, be obsolete.
