Book Review: Jingoistic nonsense!

'What's so Great about America' attempts to construct a convincing argument about the virtues of the American political system by ineptly demonstrating how the US public are frequently and easily misled by their political masters, thus concluding - although the author would not put it this way - that the American example of democracy is somewhat flimsy. He will then, in the next paragraph (literally) boldly state that America represents the best type of democracy with very little supporting evidence other than that American citizen's allegedly use more deodorant than their European counterparts.
A less jingoist piece of writing would be, hmmm.... The American National Anthem.
