Book Reviews of What the Bleep Do We Know!?: Discovering the Endless Possibilities for Altering Your Everyday Reality

Book Review: Wow! I'm telling many of my friends about this book!
Summary: 5 Stars

I was introduced into the subject of quantum physics and creative visualization when buying audio tapes by Gregg Braden and Shakti Gawain.
This book is fantastic and explains these complex issues with the help of
wonderful visual effects. This new information is changing the way I view life in a very positive way! By the way, I bought the movie immediatley thereafter.

Book Review: Deep concepts made easy
Summary: 4 Stars

As you read along the book asks questions about our perception of the universe. With the book one is reminded that not all the we see in the real truth and not all we distrust is wrong.

Book Review: A whole new realm
Summary: 4 Stars

I really enjoyed this book. It showed me things I have always knew instinctually. It mixes science and metaphysics into one topic. The only peeve I have is that I wish they went more into depth with certain topics.
I recommend the DVD as well.

Book Review: Tripe in a nice wrapper
Summary: 1 Stars

This book demonstrates what happens when "C" students pretend to know material that only "A" students understand. By juxtapositioning snippets of observations from intellectuals, and adding some self-congatulatory personal insight, the "authors" have compiled a useless, meandering mishmash of jabberwocky. The answer to the book's title question (judging by its contents) is "Not Much!" Do not waste your time or money, or contribute to the death of innocent trees, by buying this book.

Really, the book brings up some interesting tidbits about life and the universe, but fails to tie them together or extract from them useful insights with possibly a few exceptions. Add to that the smugness of 'what we learned' and 'the fun we had' sprinkled alongside the text, and the whole thing is like a stew that never turned out -- lots of ingredients, but no recipe. You'll get as much from the old Army slogan "Be all that you can be (in the Army)" as you will from the book. Who the heck is "Ramtha" anyway and who cares? The final chapter on the Wizards dinner is a lame attempt at creative writing -- sounds great to the writer but never connects to the audience. All this criticism from a guy who would like a good book on this topic if there was one.

I guess I will have to wait for a book on "Unified Field Theory" -- can we bring Albert back?

Book Review: Great Book for Bleepers
Summary: 5 Stars

If you liked the video, you'll love the book. It expands on each topic discussed in th video. I just got the new "What the Bleep; Down the Rabbit Hole extended version" video and noticed that some of the new video material are the same interviews printed in the book.
