This book is very detailed, almost like it is reporting back every bit of information that exists on each chakra. It therefore reads too much like someone's PhD for me. I was looking to learn more about the chakra system and to start to open up spiritually but the book was too complex to be a kick-start. More of a recommended read for someone who already has a reasonable knowledge and wants to learn more about the history and the life force of the chakras in general.Book Review: i cannot stress how great this book really is...

this book is simply a perfect introduction to the chakra system... not only is it spiritual and poetic but it reveals scientific aspects of the chakra system too... i enjoyed reading it so much that ive decided to read it again... it is just full of wonderful information. 5/5
