Book Review: Simple and fun
Summary: 4 Stars
Although the photo of 'raffi' on the front page holding a banana is offputting (for me) and at odds with the drawings, the rest of the book is certainly worthwhile. It is very simply the words of the song accompanied by great illustrations. My 20 month old loves it utterly; not only as the song is now known to her and she can sing along, but the details of each page leave a great deal of room for discussion even after countless readings.
I (as a picky adult) was quite impressed with the continuity throughout the book...
At the end of the book there is the music notation to the song in case you need it... but note that it (and the last line of each verse) may be slightly different to what you are used to.
