Book Review: For all those who love the history of the game!

If you are at all interested in the birth of the NFL and what football was like well before then - then this book is a must. A fact filled ride that captures the essence of old 'Prairie Football' in the Midwest from the end of the 19th century and the early years of the 20th. The background to the events leading up to the idea of what became of the NFL is discussed, although the focus is on the Cardinals throughout.Here we have the oldest NFL franchise through the ages: from Morgan Street to the move away from the city of Chicago.
Fact filled and refreshingly low on journalistic 'opinion', it is a valued part of my gridiron collection!
